Facing Fresno
The Central Valley Community Foundation’s Fresno DRIVE Initiative is proud to launch Facing Fresno. An initiative that will mark the systemic racial inequities in Fresno’s socio-economic landscape; we believe the first step is to create a shared understanding of the theory, vocabulary, and history of race and racism, with a focus on our local community. Facing Fresno will train others, spread our message, engage with the community, and advocate for all Fresnans. Our launch invites everyone interested in learning about our city’s uncomfortable truths and remarkable progress to learn from the past for a better Fresno.
