PROGRAM EVALUATION
Assessing the impact of DRIVE's initiatives
what are the impacts of drive's 14 initiatives?
To evaluate DRIVE programs, we work with initiative partners to track activities, outcomes, and the stories behind the numbers. We aim to collect actionable data so partners can make informed decisions, adapt strategies, and share successes and lessons learned. Our partners know their work and communities best, so we use a "participatory evaluation" model, teaming each initiative with researchers to co-create evaluation plans.
To support data collection, we develop tailored "information gathering tools." Initiative leads use these tools to report on activities, outcomes, and lessons learned – combining quantitative and qualitative data to capture the full story of program performance. Follow-up conversations provide additional insight, highlighting the real-life impact of the DRIVE initiatives on the individuals and communities they serve.
